Why Digital Knight was your only book reviewed

The most likely reason that we never reviewed any other books by you after Digital Knight was that they were never sent for review as Baen Books has never sent us anything for review. Why this is so is a mystery that quite frankly is not worth our time to solve has we have far more books come in for review that even Michael could possibly handle and is one of our top producing reviewers! And I assume that Michael got the copy of Digital Knight he review by buying it or at a con as a comp copy.

You can always send Michael your books directly.

Re: Why Digital Knight was your only book reviewed

Like Cat said, we've never had much luck getting review copies out of Baen over the years. Many of the books I've reviewed have been purchaed out of pocket and reviewed out of sheer love; for every book I get from a publisher, there's at least 2 or 3 which I've stumbled across on my own at one point or another. I suppose Baen's success with Baen's Bar and Webscriptions means they don't feel the need to get physical hard copies out there as much.

Add in my local stores having something of a dodgy track record when it comes to carrying Baen and Tor books when they first come out, and it's been easy for me to miss things, or be forced to choose between something that's just come out, or something that's been on the shelves elsewhere for months or a year. It's a rough decision to make. But I'll go check my email now...
