So, I entered snippets of my story, "Your Name Is Eve" from the recently released Clockwork Phoenix 3 into that widget that analyzes your writing and throws back a comparison.

Depending on what I enter, I write like James Fenimore Cooper, Leo Tolstoy, Dan Brown, James Joyce, Mario Puzo, or Kurt Vonneget.

My de Lint-inspired story, "Keys" brings me comparisons to Stephen King, and Mark Twain.

My fairy tale erotica piece, "After the Hunt" evokes Bram Stoker and Vladimir Nabokov, along with James Joyce and Stephen King.

Color me amused. Who knew I was so talented and versatile?

I've been seeing all sorts of people post about this today, and I tried a couple of times myself. You and I have a few in common--James Joyce, Stephen King, Dan Brown, and James Fenimore Cooper. I also got Margaret Atwood, PG Wodehouse, and a few others I forget at the moment.
