Holy Socks...

I'm still alive!
I know it's been a while since I last updated, and for that, I apologize. Once I got out of the habit of writing on here, the time just sort of flew by. So here's the current skinny on what's up:

Scheherazade's Facade: The submissions are still trickling in, a little at a time. The reading period closes at the end of February (I'll consider anything that makes it into my emailbox by the end of February 28th. And since I don't go to bed until late, that gives even the most diehard of stragglers a little wiggle room. But once it's March, sorry! Gotta stop somewhere.) Once the reading period is closed, I'll sit down and really take a look at what I've got. I'll try to look at stories between now and then, but no promises. Guidelines can be found here if you need a refresher. The address for submission is at the bottom, labeled "Editorial address." Good luck, and I look forward to seeing what squeaks in under the wire.

Recent publications:
"After the Hunt" in Like A Queen from Circlet Press. My erotic reimagining of an old fairy tale.
"The Muse's Mask" in Like A God's Kiss from Circlet Press. An urban fantasy erotic look at Greek myth.

Upcoming publications:
"Partners" in Like A Mask Removed, Circlet Press. Release date to be announced.
"Hannah and the Witch" in Rumpledsilksheets, Ravenous Romance. Release date to be announced.
"Your Name Is Eve" in Clockwork Phoenix 3 Norilana Books, July 2010

I've also been writing my regular YA SF/Fantasy review column for Realms of Fantasy. Feel free to drop me a line if you have a YA book coming out and you'd like me to take a look at it.

On top of that, I'm still reviewing for Publishers Weekly, but my work there is top secret. I could tell you, but then I'd have to give you a bad review. (Threats of death don't worry authors, just look at L. Ron Hubbard!)

And of course I'm contributing to Green Man Review and SF Site whenever I can find the time to tackle the backlog on my shelf.

So that's where I am currently. I'll try and post a little more regularly, when there's something newsworthy to post. And there'll be cake.
