01:41 pm - New Realms of Fantasy - August
I've just recieved my contributor copies of the August issue of Realms of Fantasy, cover-dated October 2008.

In this issue, my column looks at the following books:
Generation Dead, by Daniel Waters
Little Brother, by Cory Doctorow
Nobody's Prize, by Esther Friesner
Percy Jackson and the Olympians #4: The Battle of the Labyrinth, by Rick Riordan
Princess Ben, by Catherine Gilbert Murdock
Vampire Academy #2: Frostbite, by Richelle Mead (blue_succubus)
The dead & the gone, by Susan Beth Pfeffer
Alfred Kropp: The Thirteenth Skull, by Rick Yancey

Fiction in this issue is by the following authors:
M.K. Hobson
Vylar Kaftan
Greg O. Weatherford
Joe Murphy
Sharon Mock
Euan Murphy

ERRATA: In the column, I managed to omit the publisher for The Battle of the Labyrinth. It's from Hyperion.

This issue should be on the stands within the next week or two, so keep your eyes open.
Current Mood: pleasedpleased

Haven't gotten the mail yet so I don't have mine, but SQUEEE. (Cuz, um, the cover goes with my article. I'm so happy to be in there with you at last!)

I have three slush survivors in there (and one former slush survivor). That's a nice haul! With any luck, my copies are waiting for me at home. *crosses fingers*

Sounds like a good lineup by anyone's standards! Someday, I'll try my own hand at submitting a story...

This reminds me; if I want to see if I can get my publisher to send you an ARC of my book for review, where should I have it sent?

Got your email and replied. I haven't seen The Black Ship via ARC yet, though Monday's mail is certainly anyone's guess. Obviously I'm interested. I've been looking forward to it for a while now. :>
